IntelliMed Enrolment Automation
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for more digital solutions in healthcare, including for patient enrolment and management. IntelliMed's New Enrolment module provides a solution to some of the challenges faced by GP clinics in New Zealand. By allowing patients to enrol online, the module can make the process more accessible and convenient, while also reducing the administrative burden on clinic staff.
In addition to streamlining the enrolment process, the module will also offer other benefits such as improved data accuracy by reducing errors caused by interpreting patient handwriting.
By automating some of the administrative tasks associated with patient enrolment, clinic staff can focus more on patient care and other important tasks. This can help reduce stress and improve job satisfaction for receptionists and other administrative staff in a stretched healthcare sector.
Enrolment Patient/Admin Experience
Many ways to enrol
IntelliMed offers multiple methods for patients to enrol:
- from your own website (and anywhere else you have a presence online).
- on any smart phone or tablet that has an internet connection.
- at home from their home computer or smart device.
- via an IntelliMed Self-Check In Kiosk (separate fees apply).
It’s easy for patients to send your practice secure, private, error free information which IntelliMed will file directly into your Patient Management System.
Allow patients to re-enrol at any time from anywhere without needing to come into the clinic.
Modernising your enrolment process
If a patient wishes to enrol at a GP clinic in New Zealand, in most clinics, the patient would have to obtain an enrolment pack from the clinic, fill out the forms by hand, and return them to the clinic. This process can be time-consuming and inconvenient for patients and can result in additional administrative work for clinic staff who have to manually enter the information into the clinic's patient management system (PMS).
The most common digitising process is putting the enrolment form on their website, allowing patients to download and print the form at home. Patients can then fill out the form by hand and either scan and email it back to the clinic. This approach may not work for all patients, particularly those who do not have access to a printer or scanner, or those who may struggle with technology. Additionally, it can still be a manual process for clinics to enter the information into their PMS.
IntelliMed's online enrolment forms are easy for patients to fill out and reduce the time clinic staff spend enroling patients.
