How to create a user?
Creating a new user in IntelliMed is a simple process which can be achieved by following the steps provided below.
1. Navigate to settings
Firstly, navigate to the Settings page by clicking on the 'Settings' link. This link is located in the navigation bar, at the top right of the page.

2. Navigate to the Users page
Secondly, click on the 'Users' button as shown in the image to the right to navigate to the Users page.

3. Click Create User
Then, click on the blue 'Create User' button located near the top of the page. This will direct you to the user creation process.

4. Enter user details
Following the instructions provided, create the new user by entering a valid username and selecting a practice. The practice is used to check permissions when viewing or editing the user. It also determines what the user can see in the 'Encounters' page.
You have the option to create a user without a password. The password can be set by another person later by clicking 'Forgot Password?' on the login screen, and entering their username or email. This will only work if you set an email or recovery email in the next step.
Once completed, click the green 'Submit' button located at the bottom of the page.
5. Completion
Clicking the 'Submit' button will take you to the Edit User page. Seeing this page indicates that the user creation process is complete. You can now make changes to this new user here, or leave the page.
We recommend giving the user an email address. The email field must have a unique email address and this email can be used in place of the username during login. If the user doesn't have a unique email address, the recovery email field can be used instead. It is still used for password resets and email 2FA, but it can't be used to login.
